I have found a number of other users posted this question in the forum over the years but I cannot find a resolution anywhere.The way the Rental Property Calculator derives the "Profit if sold" number seems to have an error in it if you are using the function to increase the rental rate and expenses each year.

If you have not contributed post-tax dollars into a traditional IRA, the total amount converted is taxed at your normal income tax rate and the Pro-Rata rule does not apply, but in this case you mentioned you have an IRA so I'm sure it does.

When you lose that lawsuit, the court will issue a judgment against each and every partner for the full amount of the damages (which can also include court costs and post-judgment interest and depending on the terms of your loan agreement, maybe even the lender's attorney's fees for the suit).
