Investing in real estate would make me a third generation real estate investor in my family.

I think it's easier by the apartment as the students know each other living in the same place and there won't be finger pointing should anything go wrong when  you rent out by the room to random students. 

Investing in Real Estate is an amazing tool to generate wealth, however NYC is certainly tough.

It could be totally random in that you had some people who stayed there that don't give out 5 stars.

No need for landlord classes and if it's not rented, they won't give you credit for any income the property may generate.  

I recommend vacation rental markets where laws have already been established for vacay rentals / you don't have to worry about laws changing like you do in random small towns or metro markets. 

In other cases, there are random names that local people don’t identify with.

You could find a single family home in a B class neighborhood for $94k or possibly an A class but the home will need work, but it won't generate $500/mo in cash flow.

You might consider skipping opening the company to generate sales leads.

Yes, I know this seems very cliche, however it is a libelity for someone to just randomly send you one.
