We live in a consumerist society where most people think that a bigger house and fancier car is what will bring them joy.. 

Imagine the owners joy at receiving a harassing call at midnight.

I called the GM to ask what this is and it's the fee to reimburse the wholesaler for their closing cost with their seller; pure insanity. 

Well said @Bill Brandt, @Joshua Arsenault, Nothing will kill your joy (and ruin years of cash flow in an instant) like an undiscovered capital repair expense. 

Someone I know was denied after constantly contacted them  and it said something bout couldn’t verify the landlord or something… I think it’s just pure bs and I think they just not doing their job correctly because her landlord have more then one house and every other tenant got approved except 1
