. :)  As long as the numbers crunch (and I suspect they will) I think she's in what could be the ideal situation to AirBNB in LA.If navigating the STR rules & regs are too daunting, she could also consider renting to medium-term tenants of over 30 days, to which the STR rules won't apply.
