Black Tie Title hasn't been around long enough for the first title claim to surface, but it is surely passing horrendous costs onto consumers. 

I'm in Central Oregon which is one of the hottest and fastest growing markets in the country and that has a lot of people feeling optimistic, but I like what you said about those extra expenses and how quickly they can add up.

@Costin IorgulescuInvesting an IRA in real estate is another way of growing your IRA by not just investing your IRA in equities.

We are hoping to continue growing our real estate portfolio through multi-family homes and possibly a few single family homes in the Buffalo area. 

On the more costly/ time consuming side- install in unit laundry if there is space for it and there isn't laundry available otherwise. 

If the area is stable or growing in population with multiple strong employers, then I'd be comfortable investing in the market at the right prices.
