Then out of that cut comes all of the agents fixed and variable expenses like errors and omissions insurance, association fees, MLS fees, health insurance, continuing ed, licensing fees, gas and vehicle expenses, software subscription fees, marketing, laptop, cell phone, clothing (optional), team split, desk fees, photos/cleaning/staging/advertising/signs if they're the listing agent, etc., etc., etc.
