I wouldn't take the word of a sales agent about buying there!!!

RE agents are feeding into this by offering introductions to "trusted" contractors or misrepresenting how "easy" it is to find a contractor and handle the renovations as a DIY GC.We've always had a hybrid model where we help investors purchase a property in a solid area that needs rehab.

I need ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY who invests, rehabs, and property manages in Birmingham to recommend contractors, agents, management companies, real estate attornies, etc that I could use.

I would not replace the kitchen cabinets if they are in good shape, and would defer to a local real estate agent on whether to paint them.
