My dad's dream was to own 3 houses outright - one for each of his kids.

Way to take action on your dreams! 

After day dreaming of owning a home for years, I finally took the leap and bought my first place just over a year ago.

Some of the other changes we have planned are:- Roof- Paint/ Flooring/ Lights- Open Kitchen Walls and bath remodelsWe're looking to find the right financial investor to take our Family's dream of doing this as a team, as well as my extensive connections through working in Real Estate & Title & Escrow for 10 years, and making it a profitable reality for everyone involved.We appreciate your time and consideration!

I think @Tim Macy had some good advice for such a big dream.

I guess I'm really writing this out of anger and distaste towards the folks who originally brought me in to their company with hopes and dreams as far as the eye could see.

The following is my question, or dilemma rather, on where to start within the world of Real Estate.This is my short and long term plans for myself, my boyfriend, and our Real Estate ventures together and/or with additional business partners:Within a year my boyfriend and I want to be able to buy a single family home of our own (not a dream home, just a basic 3 bedroom 1.5 bath home).

Most who go down this road of hey if you have no money to start try wholesaling they blow what little money they have on marketing.. never close a deal or close one that took a whole year to do and never scale it and then they are back at their day job and there dreams are crushed.. where as same time and effort put into the industry and you have much wider net to cast and revenue streams to capture than just trying to talk a home owner into low balling them on the sale of a property...
