i have 2 question. do i pay the capital gain tax in the state where the asset is located. how much do i have to pay in taxes if i do not want to do a 1031.

So, after paying off the mortgage,  would net $58k (and wouldn't pay capital gains taxes as I have so many losses from previous years).

I join with the hopes to gain knowledge and to eventually, make my first real estate purchase.
