If it’s not an emergency you can certainly get another quote or two and use someone else.

A majority of folks are living check to check, drowning in debt, and don't have enough money to cover a small emergency expense.  

Who knows, maybe the inspector became ill or had a family emergency?

Sell one or both properties and spread it out among 4-5 higher end properties for STRs in desirable markets, leaving cash aside for furnishings and the necessary emergency funds. 

I've used All About in an emergency, for pumping.

I also would call the non emergency 911 line to ask for their Media Log from the most recent 5 years--every 911 call is logged here in rich detail.

I've been reading and reading and haven't found a topic or google hit for my exact situation so wondering if anyone here has any insight...we are under contract on what was listed as a 4 bd/2ba home, and all 4 bedrooms are legitimate bedrooms under the Florida Building Code (over 70 sq ft, window, exterior wall, emergency exit, and they all have closets).

I have good savings for life emergencies and adventures but nothing put away for a down payment.

Inflation has also been hidden for a long time by just moving production around to emerging markets, but once everyone has money that bill eventually comes due - and it's coming due now.
