You can find 300-400K 2-4 units that are very safe (West Hartford, Simsbury, Avon, Glastonbury, Newington in central CT) as well as other areas in closer to NYC in the Stamford area. 

Clearly its not going to be up to the International Building Code but it would be safe and we could install the various systems up to code with a little flexibility from the building dept.I know this is kind of wrong and weird but I'm wondering if anyone out there has any experience with something like this?

Those are both definitely very viable options.There has been some action against STVR's in a couple areas of San Diego and rumblings of it in a few others; but there are also neighborhoods (like Mission Beach, for example) where, at least for the foreseeable future, the landscape looks very safe for STVR's.I'd be more than happy to help you compare some of your alternatives down here in SD. 

So then, after 7 1/2 hrs of arabic.. we would really begin to study. 345pm till 7pm monday through friday. 70-80 new words in that timeframe, memorized to the point of instant recall using pneumonic devices and scenarios (thats where group creativity was crucial).

If you're in a desirable spot that hasn't had many new builds coming along then you're likely safe.

@Alvin Grier Time to re-think your strategy.Essentially, you have depended on a single lead generation device that is illegal in most locales. 

Where they are from the U.S. is a safe harbor doing better than other parts of the world for stability and returns.
