When you do have the new roof installed don't be afraid to lay ice shield over as much of it as possible.

Im in real estate full time so not afraid of it being an active investment that requires work on the frontend as opposed to passive. 

Dont be afraid to join not knowing much, just be a fly on the wall and soak up all the knowledge you can, while also networking and getting to know local real estate professionals that could potentially be future partners, lenders, agents, etc.I think if you follow through with those points thoroughly I can confidently say that you will be a real estate professional yourself in the near future.

Don’t be afraid to ask them before committing…a) how much will it cost and b) what you can expect them to do.

I was afraid that once I purchase this property and tenant refuse to pay the rent or refuse to sign a new lease.

If the property is already under market value, I think it's ok to start at a lower offer, but don't be afraid to give them close to asking price if the numbers make sense anyways.Many investors are set on wanting to get a property for dirt cheap and end up getting easily outbid by a seasoned Investor that knows their numbers and can give a fair offer.

I read and read, but I can never seem to start because I am terrified that people won’t take me seriously because i am 19 or I’m afraid that once I pick up the phone I’ll freeze.

I'm afraid that when I'll tell them that I'm a beginner with no experience they won't take as seriously and just won't  take deals to me because they'll think it's not worth the time and probably won't close.
