There are numerous areas surrounding Charlotte that have seen continuous growth over the past couple years.

The area is mentioned on numerous platforms for best places to vacation, up and coming places, etc.

@Neil Schoepp Apart from the FRED website posted, there are numerous other article posted that provide macro-level views of city-level growth. 

The first appraisal did not account for the numerous and quality improvements that we made to the house, but the second appraisal did.

I realize that this question is broad and has been asked likely numerous times on this board however the search function returned dated threads so I was hoping to get current responses / advice.

I operate a mortgage brokerage in Orlando, we have numerous clients that buy STRs here.

Due to numerous of needed repairs, I’m not sure about this one being my very first rental property.

So far it seems like the research triangle is a strong market, the Piedmont triad is a little cheaper, and Fayetteville a little cheaper.
