Launching a Real Estate Fund - Securities Lawyer Question

Andres T.
Posted

Hello all - I (and a couple colleagues) are working through launching our own real estate fund to invest in multifamily properties. Would anyone here be able to provide the contact information of a law firm / securities lawyer that would be able to discuss the various structuring options regarding SEC compliance? Googling the topic results in thousands of responses so it would be great if anyone has the details on an individual they currently work with that could be helpful.

I realize that this question is broad and has been asked likely numerous times on this board however the search function returned dated threads so I was hoping to get current responses / advice. Appreciate any and all feedback.

@Mauricio Rauld, @Kim Lisa Taylor would be good folks to start with. They both put out quite a bit of high quality, free content. It's much cheaper to learn as much as you can from the free stuff put out by attorneys, then pay them to answer your specific questions!
