I personally would if I am renting a nice 3/2 or 4/2 in grovetown close to the military base that rents for 1300-1400 to a captin or officer at fort Gordon. 

Near Randolph AFB and Fort Sam.

For this reason, there's quite a bit of local investor focus on Old Fort and even Marion right now (east of Black Mountain).

Since then Hampton has set up in Fort Monroe and sold and rented out some commercial property. 

My real estate forte is long term rentals.  4 units online and 4 more waiting in the wings.  

I ended up in Fort Wayne Indiana (no.17 on that list).

@Tim Koumoundouros - You can definitely make the numbers work in PCB, Destin, or Fort Walton Beach (right next to Destin). 

I have rentals throughout fort myers and I seen that my premiums went up a bit but nothing too drastic I’m still cashflowing good on my long term rentals.

I live in Fort lauderdale and I prefer the Orlando and Brevard Markets over South Florida any day of the week.
