Hi, I'm new to all this. I've been in the childcare industry for over 35 yrs. I operate a licensed preschool out of my home. I'm also a business consultant to other childcare providers around the beautiful state of Tejas. I just purchased a piece of property on Lake Livingston (actually two adjoining vacant lots. I should be getting my Topographic Survey by the end of the day today. I'm excited to see it, my setbacks, and the space I'll have to create my beautiful home away from home plus STRs. Any tips, suggestions, or anything anyone wants to share with me please feel free to do so.  At this point I'm learning all I can, I guess we never really stop learning  I do need a good CPA who is a genius when it comes to small business and real estate/strs. Looking forward to meeting some of you in person at events and meet-ups.
