@Dave Goines,My best go-to advice is to start attending your local REI meetings as much as possible. 

BTW, do you attend the local REI meetings?

I haven't attended a reia meeting yet, next thing on the list.I would love to hear different perspective or talk to someone regarding possible partnership.

@Basit - thanks for the shout out.Bellman,As other folks have suggested, spend some time educating yourself, reading books such as "best apartment syndication book" and "it's a whole new business", listen to podcasts and attend networking events and conferences where operators hang out.

I’ve been attending open houses to try building relationships with realtors and getting use to the idea of looking at houses.

@Mike Jacovelli sounds like you need to start reserving your real estate conversations, and time and energy, for more encouraging people.Have you attended a real estate Meetup in your area?

If I don’t have my kids then I would love to attend.

Maintenance such as in ground plumbing leaks, grounds and pool service can be attended to by my staff of 3-4 already servicing the multifamily.
