@Daniel Solano Wolfe - we've found mid-term rentals to be pretty helpful for the Bay Area with our House Hacks.

We originally planned for this to be a mid-term rental, but when my grandma wanted to move, we offered it to her instead for minimal cash flow.

She is also in favor of enacting a national rent control which would be an absolute disaster and would greatly reduce the amount of available of rental housing long term. 

The park will serve as housing for the surrounding chemical plants, and we are confident that it will be successful since there is very little short term housing on that side of the Mississippi River.

For the past 5 years, I moved into short term rentals and Rob's expertise has helped me to become a better STR host. 

Short term its leveling off and going to fall a little bit, but longer term its still going to increase.

You can decide which term you want. 

I wouldn't do a general business tract as it's too broad, too theoretical to be helpful in the long run.  

Is the move abroad sort of a "trail" to see how long you want to stay away?
