Something like this might not fly legally- most states require that you give the tenant at least 24 hours notice and when landlords include clauses in their leases that contradict state law, judges usually don't side with them- and you are in a notoriously tenant friendly state.

When the person in charge sees you as a real person at the real property, a lot of things can change real fast.I think it would be worth it to fly into the property and meet with the person in charge.
