To me, it would make sense to purchase a home in Fairhope or Spanish Fort for school districts and being close to the interstate for commuters driving to Mobile for work.

The school district is a mess as well.I'd love to hear from anyone with a different outlook than mine.  

@Jon S.While some school districts and other taxing authorities do their own collections, each county has an Appraisal Distinct which sets the property valuations.  

They wanted to sell the house and had it on the market for years while renting it to faculty from the nearby university. 

That said, look for the absolute best school district you can afford with the most square footage on the best lot.  

And, yes, it was purchased in NW Houston - in the Klein School District. 

Lynette Gibson replied saying that Kalb and Gallo were the ones pushing for the legislation.She is the councilmember for my district and the only one who responded thus far.I have a list of all the councilmembers email addresses/phone numbers but I can't post it to BP. 

An agent who knows everything about the school districts, local life, etc. really doesn't mean much. 

It is move-in ready in an A+ school district and sits on 24 acres, including a private pond.
