It seems a bit ridiculous there aren't better consumer protections but after talking to a few attorneys, it seems like that is the case with Georgia law.I am wondering if the BP community may have a better perspective as the attorneys are incentivized for us to take them on.Much appreciated!

@Chris SeveneyOne point to clarify is Dodd frank has exceptions to the underwriter rules but the loan is still a consumer loan so it needs to meet other requirements such as CFPB compliance (which was created under Dodd Frank) so many use that interchangeably along with FDCPA as “Dodd Frank”

You can probably also get a list for free from your local property appraiser but you'll need to sort it which can be pretty time consuming
