I was cold calling for some properties I found while driving for $ and came across a landlord.

No cold calling, door knocking.

The cold hard truth about real estate is that it takes money to make money.  

Instead of cold calling random banks, go to the REIA meetup local to where the real estate is physically at, and ask those investors who is doing their mortgages. 

Started at the firm I am at now as an un-paid cold caller.

Sometimes if the property is in a cold belt state or in a high crime area landlords decide to keep the tenants in the property until a better tenant comes along.

This market hits the brakes and slows down pretty hard when school starts in August, then once the weather gets really cold and we get closer to the holidays we hit the brakes yet again - pretty normal for this time of year for everything to be slow. 

Are you getting calls and people looking or is it just cold? 

I thinking this real estate stuff is making me crazy lol.I live in the Midwest, if you live where it's cold you know once December hits it's hard to rent houses and apartments until late March.

We are still cold calling and sending mail like we always have.
