I'll tell you that, if you're in banking, you will likely need to disclose any outside business you are involved in and get it approved. 

I’ll be sure to dive into them.

But if I get contacted again from the guy with the truck, I'll tell him he has to sort it out with the neighbor.

Rehab should cost no more than 15k (realistically it might even cost less than 7k depending on what I decide to do with it and how much I'll do myself.More importantly I am not using any of my own money.  

Nothing I'll retire on, but just $1k to see how it goes.
