Many of the rule changes originated from deadbeats who failed to pay student loans as they did not go on your credit report years ago. 

It is somewhat close to JHU but a little too far to attract a lot of students IMO, but that doesn't mean you'd have trouble renting there.

I've always wanted to get into real estate investing and plan to buy a small multi-family unit here in the next 4 years or so after I pay off my student loans but I feel that I need a more concrete RE career to get my toes wet.
