I see that you are a lender - any input about getting financing as a cross-border investor? 

The buyers have reported that they are unable to obtain financing since the duplex (built in 1907) is located in an area that is zoned for single family homes (Toledo zoning was established much later).

I’d love to connect with some of the more experienced RE investors in and around the Rhode Island area.

I've gone through a couple handymen that overcharged for very poor work so I'm looking for recommendations from people who have actually worked with someone in the area.

That way you get specific feedback from that agent as to the best areas to purchase regardless of your exit strategy.

Im all over I-5 and do a few deals here and there in that area.
