My concern is that tenants will refuse to leave, and I'll have an expensive eviction process on my hands.  

So I usually feel comfortable, however as I scale I know I’ll need to build in some safeguards.

I've only been once a few months ago, but I'll go back in the future (just haven't been able to work it with my schedule).

But, I don't think I'll fail at EVERYTHING, so I'm hoping that at the very least I can find a property that with other unit's rent will at least cover some (preferably  most) of my mortgage payment.

I'll tell you that, if you're in banking, you will likely need to disclose any outside business you are involved in and get it approved.
