I have never seen any real commercial grade timber being grown in Texas  like you see in LA MS AL GA FL... but maybe.  15 acres though is not near enough to generate significant income in timber.Maybe here in the northwest you get a stand that is about 90 years old and well manicured you could get a one time harvest in the 200 to 250k net revenue...
