Understand that private money may not always be available.I'm not a fan of putting all I have with any one lender, banks do fail and new holders may not be as accomodating, but that depends on how much you're dumping into one lender too.The biggest concern with blanket loans are the terms of release for each property secured!

I have used all kinds of other assets, from securities to vehicles, a boat, a camper to inventory, even jewelry.You do not have assets signed over to you, such as titled person property, you become a lien holder and take a note.If you take an asset as a down payment in trade, you must have the asset valued by a dealer of that type of asset or appraised.

If you own the note you can contact, yet there is a proper procedure you have to follow when contacting.Everytime you contact them you have to ask at least 3 questions to verify that you are talking to the right person.I ask the following explaining I have to verify for security reason.Property address they live atLast 4 digits of SSDate of birthIf you got someone who has been jerked around byprior note holder they tend to be hostile at times.Also many have been abused by bill collectors sogo slow and build confidence.DOCUMENT EVERY email, letter or phone call you make.

If the answer is rehab, I am confused b/c your are a note holder not an owner and I do not think would be possible to either rehab or sell the house unless it is foreclosed on first.Am I missing a step.Thanks.

It is not something I researched.My point about mutual companies is that policy holders should participate fully in profits so their cash value and death benefits increase.
