If you cannot attribute the broken items directly to them and they are paying their rents according to state law and your lease agreement, then you should live up to your end of the contract.

All else fails, send a signed contract with your next payment with language that states, “As per our conversation with one of your counselors” and have in their that all negative remarks will be removed from your credit reports.

This way I can always estimate on my own the costs… Then have itemized add on’s… i.e. clean stove, clean fridge, trash haul out, windows in and out, etc.

Also sounds like they are controlling the conversations and not you… You are the buyer, you should be in control and asking them the questions… They as the seller should be “selling” you on why you should buy their property… But it sounds like instead they are confused to who you are and what it is you do… In their eyes… you should be simply a possible buyer… Any more than that, it can and will create confusion.All for now… Good luck!
