You could always try to extend closing, but the seller may refuse to sign an extension amendment.You could always suggest closing and implementing a rent back or occupancy agreement as it’s called here, although I suspect she won’t want that and prefers to get a higher price if she received those other offers.

Did you pass occupancy inspection, they don't release final payment till they have certificate of occupany in hand. or was this a basic remodel?

It will be the duty of the escrow officer to release funds to you when you show that the improvements have been completed, or what ever is described in the Agreement.

@Peter LysiakThe single member child LLC would have as sole member the multimember LLC.It’s manager would be the individual that you decide (probably one of the members of the parent LLC).You can put in the operating agreement what are the extend of the manager authority for instance sign a closing on behalf of the LLC but with prior approval from the member.

I am worried he will extend without stay and cause a further issue.
