Because I have a feeling that the different insurance companies that I'm going to shop around with are going to hike the rates tremendously.I prefer to be upfront with them right from the beginning about the usage of the property to avoid any issues down the road.

If I did not get a chance to travel extensively ( writing this from Singapore and in Thailand next week) like I do I would have been out of here long ago.. granted 3 months of summer is nice the rest well it just sucks.. but thats a Californian view point..

Not only do you have eviction pressure, the tenant has the same pressure to do well by you because he not only doesn't want to get evicted, he doesn't want word to travel back to the company that he's a lousy tenant that disrespects his colleagues.That being said, how closely do you work with this colleague?
