We have an inherited tenant in a fourplex we purchased 15 months ago who was served a 60-day notice to vacate after his lease expired.

I've never dealt with any landlord attorneys before but I assume they charge a fee whether or not there is any work legal action or paperwork served?

Spend time in cultures different than ours and eventually do more purpose driven travel to serve in poverty stricken places of the world.

Serve proper notice on the landlord that the lease will be terminated and no renewed when the current term expires.If the co-tenant wishes to remain, s/he will need to enter into a new lease with the landlord.
