A new contractor has just handed me some paperwork to sign; the Notice of Commencement, which to my understanding, is required that I sign, and a builders permit that he wants me to sign and have notarized prior to him doing his part.  

If not, are there enough interested BP members to start a REI club or network?

My private lender is all over the world and gets stuff notarized wherever he's at when he needs to.

That means no lender docs and and an instant return of the seller escrow package combined with the signed and notarized deeds.

Simply email the contract have them notarize when they sign

Perhaps get the promissory note notarized?

Unless you are borrowing funds, in which case there a few notarizations required.

I have never purchased property in North Carolina so I am unfamiliar with the process there.In CA I just have my seller notarize a grant deed and have my title guy file it at the County Recorders office and PRESTO!  

I have been writing letters, used a notary (free) to notarized my letter and made copies for myself in case I bring her to court.
