I'd rather start high and work down in $25 increments than sell myself short What I think will happen:  Although I think $2000 is a fair price I believe there is a psychological resistance to that even round and perhaps large number. 

But psychologically there may be a benefit to your discipline if you pay off the smallest balances and can see the progress.Also you may be able to pay them off with a lower rate personal loan from SoFI or Lending Club.

I don't know how having shares that pay off when the building sells would affect their psychology.

So if you claim it depends on your market...I find it laughable that somehow the majority of folks that psychologically prefer hand written letters ended up living in the same area and the other people that like post cards better, ended up living in an other area... doesn't make much sense right?
