I had a pinch over $500 extra in the 1031 that I needed to use so instead of having the loan amount lowered I just added this to his fee. 

As big as Texas is, I've drafted for clients like this state-wide.Having title company hire this done will do in a pinch, but that lawyer works for the title company, not lender or borrower.For attorneys that draft this sort of thing, a 10-15 minute call is all it takes to get the ball rolling. 

If I see a flip without a fridge for a client, I walk out because I know they are pinching pennies.

If you want a good contractor you can't be penny pinching or you're going to end up with a guy who sold the job too cheap and is jumping from job to job kiting along the 50% deposits until they're all burned out and your project is 6 months behind schedule. 

The weight of the cabinets, particularly a loaded down sink cabinet, can create pinch points that pull the seams apart on floating floors.

Most here also seem so preoccupied with the "more" or income side of the equation that they forget the simple fact the "less" spending improves your cashflow situation just as rapidly (and no, that doesn't have to mean living in strife, pinching pennies or moving to a commune at the end of a dirt road... in fact VERY far from it).Both these ideas can very much happen in unison and at least for us, the result has been very beneficial.
