I highly recommend that you use Redfin in tandem with Zillow to gauge property values as Redfin is a broker with MLS access and they update their property feeds every 15 minutes or so.

As for Zillow and the other platforms, they all feed from our MLS, so it goes out to all of them.

So if you're friend put the proceeds there, for the most part they can't get their money back out until the sponsor sells the investment property at some point down the road (time frames vary by DST, but for sake of this feed..lets say 7-8 years on average).

You can also grab probate info yourself from the county, but you'll have to physically go to the courthouse and go through each file to pull address & executor/admin info.There are a lot of new data feed sources popping up lately, but I don't have any experience with them.
