Are there any other single income households that have overcome these hurdles?

Being as the audience seems to be college students I'm sure referring them to DIY you tube videos on basic household maintenance would be a hit.

I'm newly married, so now with a dual income household and split expenses, I'm starting to feel more comfortable about taking a step into investing in real estate.My original goal was to always keep my current home and rent it out regardless of where I moved next, because I think we could make $200-300 per/mo. on it (not including maintenance/vacancy) - and when the mortgage wraps up, even better.We're not looking to move any time soon, so I think our next step will be to look for a duplex in 2022 - hopefully near Bay View but open to other Neighborhoods in the Milwaukee area.

They manage the listing on Airbnb, hire the cleaners, communicate with guests, work with contractors, restock household items, etc.

What I know is allowed is having as many as five unrelated adults living in the same household.

:PWhat you might find is that if you hit that target retirement date, and half or all of your mortgages are paid off, your monthly household income-after-expenses number may not even drop below what your "day job" used to pay you.

(I grew up in a household that didn’t believe in credit cards so I didn’t get my first card until a year ago.)I am thinking about leaving sales and starting a new career that’s more related to real estate.

You want to see consistent increases in single family home prices 2%-3%+ per year and household income (over the past decade). 

So there will be a good number of households that will not be able to make the payment required.
