We are moving to Texas next June and my mindset is to house hack (triplex or fourplex); however, my spouse isn't entirely in enthusiastic as me with this vision with most of these types of properties seem to be relatively smaller in square footage than we are used to.

Lenders are not enthusiastic about using my home of record address as a substitute.

I am always looking for mentors and like minded business enthusiasts.  

With changing markets and tighter lending requirements, particularly in the current rising rate environment, the importance of a quality lender that can work through and with guidelines as well as with access to specific product offerings is critical to a professional's, investor's or enthusiast's success. 

I’m new here and new to Real Estate in general, however I am very enthusiastic and determined to learn and invest wisely.

Stay enthusiastic and drive forward with patience until the numbers make financial sense.

Conversely, when the credit markets are loose, and banks are enthusiastically lending money, seller financing has less appeal.Good luck!
