I'm talking a house that needs a few drywall holes patched, paint all the way around, maybe some carpet or a small area of laminate, plant a few bushes.

The property is going to have brand new bathrooms, carpet, paint flooring, drywall, and a new kitchen. 

Didn’t need much work though just painted and replaced carpet downstairs so I only purchased a little below market value.

Most websites say carpets have a 7-10 year life span and others say landlord is responsible for replacing carpet every 5 years, which that does not make any sense to me.

The realtor had someone paint part of the walls and clean the carpet before showing.We used to live in the unit and it's only been rented out for about a year, everything was in good condition when the realtor inspected the unit.   

I still have not received any communication from anyone.I am going to move forward with my move, thoroughly clean my apartment and pay to have the carpet cleaned.

We're replacing damaged parquet flooring in kitchen and damaged carpet.

Also, in the future .. make sure the floors match, it looks unplanned to have the 2 different colors, not to mention also carpet and tile.. you gotta sell flow, focus on who your buyer is, and what they want!
