I rented to assisted living as a 5/3.5; it was ideal.

Individualized container homes would be ill suited for assisted living style care.

A nice 3 bed 1 bath around 1200 sq ft is easy to buy, cost very little to maintain, rents easy, and is easy to sell to another investor or a homeowner.

If a warranty deed has been filed or even a memorandum of sale or a lis pendens, it makes getting clear title virtually impossible without the co-operation of the one who filed or having assistance from an attorney and maybe a long, costly, lawsuit. 

@Sanjeev Advani I’m not saying they’re all like this but since Circle K bought 3 local convenience stores they have never been able to staff them properly or maintain employees.

It's about having an income that will enable you to maintain your current standard of living for life.

They either:- Completely dump everything on us and then aren't happy with the results, or- Try to micromanage us, which we can't do as we aren't paid enough to be "personal assistants". 

I don't want to maintain them.

My company owns about 3,000 MF units, along with some retail, industrial, and Assisted Living.
