I've been using it in conjunction with gmail through Chrome browser recently, and it's been a life saver.

Also, sometimes a completely blank page is being displayed (presumably because nothing is actually being delivered to the IE7 browser I'm using for now).

Or, by going to the grey-colored bar, and hovering the mouse over the word "Forum" on that bar; you'll get a menu and one of the menu choices is "Monitored Topics".You can use the "Monitored Topics" almost like bookmarks / favorites in the browser if you think about it this way.

Some browsers have a built in checker or one can be added independent of the website you are visiting.
