I would love to put a sliding glass door in, as it lets in more natural light, which would greatly improve the space.Someone suggested French Doors, however, I'm not sure how well that would mesh with the Crafstman style.The city won't let me do anything that contradicts with the style anyway, so I guess I can't shoot myself in the foot too badly.

Most the reputable property manager companies id recommend (although they've never managed my property I've dealt with and know many people who have used them) would prob be Howard Smith or Paul French.

You'll have to either stop the water from getting to the wall or floor first by waterproofing the exterior or putting in a french drain around the interior perimeter of your basement floor which drains to a sump pump and pit and gets pumped out.

Absolutely not.If it were me, I would look to a lease option and then assigning the LO to a tenant/buyer who needs a helping hand toward home ownership while they get the credit together.
