Real Estate Noob in Las Vegas.

Hey, guys!

My name's Chris French. I moved out to Vegas about four and a half years ago, after getting my Bachelor's in Business Management just in time to see the global market collapse around my ears. I lost quite a bit in the aftermath, and that led to my relocation. Having finally gotten my legs under me, I'm beginning to look around for a way to make my way, and have settled on trying real estate.

Why real estate? Well, while watching the global economic meltdown, I had a thought. What we were seeing, essentially, wasn't a refutation of the global market, but a pushing of an economic market past the point where it was able to sustain itself. If that was true, I reasoned, then a market niche should exist that would let a man make a respectable living -without- being corrupt.

I know, we're all just people, and we're mostly not corrupt. but, given the way the real estate market and practices were being illustrated back then, can you blame me for thinking the way I did?

I'm looking to get a few properties under contract, flip them to wholesalers, and see if this real estate thing will work for me. Assuming that it's a real thing that can happen, I'm thinking about turning it into a sideline, unless and until I can make $45k a year. if i get there, I'll likely turn it into a career.

If my story sounds familiar, or you live in Vegas, and want to go get coffee, hit me up. I know a lot of people at work, but, since I've been focused on paying down bills, I haven't been too entirely social.

Okay, well, that's it for now. If you have any questions, ask. But, know that I'm kinda ignorant. I'm willing to learn, and happy to have help. I'm dedicated, and hard-working (I got my degree by going to school full-time while working 60-hours a week), and looking to meet people a bit further along than I am.

Thank you for taking the time to read this! Any feedback would be appreciated!

-Chris
