From the "paint and carpet" cosmetic rehabs to a house we are finishing up now that was a 200yr old log cabin that required us to catch the top story of the home with industrial steel i-beams and remove the entire bottom half of the house and rebuild it from the footers up.

MartinMy dad started in the land business in the Santa cruz mountains Loch Lomond area in 1964.. bay area folks were buying lots for weekend homes.. ton of land in those hills. and if your lucky enough to score a mid size acreage with redwood you could log it as well and make a bunch.

I have been also logging all expenses into a "yearly expense journal" on Excel spread sheet that I created myself.Now that we have a baby and MUCH less time, I was wondering if it's wise to quit keeping my own records since we have a PM.
