You have skill sets and certain experience attributes that are helpful in real estate.

Working for me to overcome those obstacles: determination that will see me through hard times, a creative mind that will find a way when none presents itself, hard work and discipline enough to take what little education, capital, connections, skills, and experience I do have and make it work.I'm fascinated by REI and believe I can be successful in this market given enough hard work and perseverance.

I have a broad skill set and have worked in an array of industries in my career.  

Even though I have not been active in real estate for many years, I have done what I can to keep up with the field and keep the skills I have developed honed by knowing what the local markets are like and I always keep an eye out for investment property.

Speaks volumes about you.If you consider speaking the truth a "hard sell", you've obviously never seen one.You should probably polish up your language skills, also.

It's my goal for 2016 to take my skills as a professional successful realtor and merge as a real estate investor.

My aim is to sharpen my real estate development, sales, negotiation, and project management skills.

I have the knowledge and skill, I just thought my time was more valuable, but when a $1,000 a month rental COSTS me $3,000 every turnover, that might convince me my time is worth semi-self managing.This may sound a bit like a RANT, as well it should. 

I'm very much in the learning stages but have decent financial modeling skills and a MBA which should help me get started.
