@Johnathan Owens I would much rather support a high producing loan officer than process. 

The marketing and initial conversation says one thing, then your end loan result feels vastly dissimilar.

Two things you need to ask about is the percentage of leverage the REIT utilizes and what other successful offerings the company has produced in the past. 

You will also have insurance as the owner and the renter should have insurance as well.Make sure you read the HOA rules (and give a copy to your tenants and have them sign off saying they have read them and are responsible for any fines resulting from their actions) and check the financials.
