Path to becoming a loan officer...

Johnathan Owens
Posted

I’m looking to break into the real estate industry via lending. Does anyone have any connections to loan originators in the Greenville SC market? Always looking to grow my network!

Also, does anyone know what is the best path to become a loan originator? I’ve heard some people say you have to be an analyst first. Then some others say you have to be a junior loan officer first. Thanks in advance for everyone’s time.

Hey @Johnathan Owens, what's your schooling and/or work history like?  You may be able to jump directly into an LO position if you find the right place
