Most outlets are functioning properly but if you put any side pressure on the outlets they lose connection.

The house has 100 amp electric run off its own pole, its own septic, and powers the well pump and pressure tank.What I would like to do is tear down the house and replace it with two smaller cabins (there are two separate concrete foundations that I want to utilize), each with their own electric, but the same septic system.

As more buyers are driven towards lower priced homes, wouldn't it put more price pressure at the lower price points and result in softening of values on the higher end?

With this particular tenant, putting pressure on makes them shut down, so I need to coax a solution. 

Good for you being able to see through the high pressure tactics.

They even pressure washed the drive way.

@Kyle Roberts, I'll second what @Sean H. said - for cashflow people are going to the secondary markets in the area like Burlington, Mebane, Sanford, Fayetteville, Rocky Mount etc. 

 Schematically AirBnB seems to be exerting downward pressure on hotel rates - as are micro-hotels - the pod style tiny hotel rooms many of which are on a common  bath.
