Hi all - We here in Denver are used to hearing statistics about how many people are constantly moving here (and seeing the effects of that) but this was the first one that I'd seen that quoted a statistic about how many people are leaving the area as well.

. : )Also, in Hawaii at least, the Hawaii Tourism Authority keeps track of all sorts of visitor statistics like how many visitors came to the islands, which islands they stayed on, whether they stayed in hotels, condos, or with friends, whether their stay was for business, pleasure, blah blah blah.

Of course my favorite part was meteor statistics, I frequently use "I may get hit by a bus tomorrow" to support risk taking and will now change that to "hit by a meteor".
