When I buy a property  how much can I deduct in average from that purchase for that year or what thing related to that purchase can be deducted.. ( example: the down payment?)

When I was a newbie the inspection in a 6500Sq ft house showed K&T in the attic and because I didn’t know better I trusted when the electrician told me the whole house had to be rewired.

Agreeing with all above that the HOA (the size of a mortgage payment) will probably ruin it.
